The US Federal Reserve is expected to leave interest rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00% following its two-day meeting ending Wednesday.
The anticipated pause follows a 25-basis-point increase in September, which was the first rate hike since 2023 under Fed Chair Kevin Warsh.
Traders are pricing in an 83% probability of another rate hike in December based on the CME Group's FedWatch Tool.
