Bank of Baroda is investigating a potential cyberattack after a threat actor allegedly leaked 1TB of sensitive customer and corporate data on the dark web.
The leaked dataset reportedly contains Aadhaar numbers, loan appraisal documents, branch audit reports, and savings account records, with the breach first identified on July 25.
Security researcher Srikanth Lakshmanan linked the incident to a hacking group known as TripleX, though the bank has not yet confirmed the authenticity of the claims.
