The original track, featured in the film 'Bhai Tera Star Hai', was composed by Jatin-Lalit and remains a fan favorite, leading to backlash against the modern version.

Pandit stated that the remix lacks the soul of the original composition, comparing the act of altering classic songs to 'adding yellow to a peacock's feather'.
