Educational institutions in Hyderabad and Telangana will remain closed for three consecutive days from August 8 to August 10 due to the second Saturday, Sunday, and the Bonalu festival.

The August 10 holiday for Bonalu includes traditional events such as the Rangam oracle ritual, Pothuraju dances, and the concluding Ghatam procession in the city.

Schools in the state are scheduled to have a total of 11 holidays in August, including Independence Day on August 15 and Eid Milad-un-Nabi on August 26.
