The Government Railway Police arrested Rohit Tiwari on Wednesday for allegedly killing two passengers in separate incidents on moving trains along the Ara-DDU railway section.
Tiwari posed as STF or RPF personnel, targeted vulnerable passengers in disabled compartments, and allegedly threw victims from trains after they refused to pay extorted fines.
Police are investigating his role in other killings after recovering bodies with tied hands, noting he was previously arrested in 2024 for a similar offence and released on bail two months ago.
