The 2,367 kg satellite was injected into its intended Sub-Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit 18 minutes after the 2:55 a.m. liftoff, marking the 19th mission of the GSLV.

The satellite will monitor Earth from a 36,000 km altitude to provide strategic data for agriculture and disaster management, replacing the unsuccessful EOS-03 mission from August 2021.
