Bengaluru Police Arrest Man Linked to TTP Terror Plot

Bengaluru police arrested 25-year-old Asaful Malik Bin Abed Malik on August 11 for allegedly conspiring to attack the Pakistan Army in association with a TTP member.

Investigators found that Malik, a security guard from West Bengal, had contacted TTP member Imran Ahindar via Facebook to seek assistance for his planned retaliation.

A case has been registered under Section 113(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, following the discovery of messages and audio recordings on the accused's mobile phone.
