IIT Madras Releases Documentary Highlighting Online BS Degree Journeys

IIT Madras released a documentary titled Portrait of Many Faces capturing the journeys of 17 students enrolled in its online BS degree programmes.

Institute Director V Kamakoti stated that over 25% of students in the programme are below the poverty line, utilizing flexible learning as an alternative to the JEE route.

The BS in Data Science and Applications programme currently maintains more than 50,000 active students through online lectures and proctored examinations.
