Janata Dal United Expels Bihar MLA Anant Singh and Neelam Devi

The Janata Dal United expelled Mokama MLA Anant Singh and former legislator Neelam Devi for six years due to alleged anti-party activities.

The party stated that Singh defied directives, used insulting language against leadership, and campaigned for a rival candidate in recent legislative council elections.

The Bihar unit asked the assembly speaker to initiate action concerning Anant Singh's assembly membership under the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution.
