Six Maoists carrying a combined reward of ₹35 lakh surrendered to police authorities in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Monday.
The group comprises four People's Party Committee Members and two party member-rank cadres, including individuals involved in past insurgent attacks in Maharashtra and Odisha.
Among those who surrendered are Rani Sodhi and Pando Podiyam, who each carried a reward of ₹8 lakh and had active involvement in historical Maoist operations.
