Rajasthan High Court Issues Notices on Plea for Bhil Sub-Quota

The Rajasthan High Court issued notices to the state government and central authorities regarding a petition seeking a 9 percent special reservation for the Bhil community.

Petitioners argued that the Meena community has received a major share of Scheduled Tribe reservation benefits without adequate representation for Bhils.

A division bench of Justices Inderjeet Singh and Sandeep Taneja sought responses from respondents while the petition remains under review.
