Madhya Pradesh Police Bars Personnel from Using AI Tools for Docs

Madhya Pradesh DGP Kailash Makwana issued new guidelines explicitly barring police personnel from uploading confidential government documents onto AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini.

The 24-point order prohibits uploading operational videos, sharing sensitive locations, or turning on geo-tagging while working at sensitive workplaces.

Personnel are also restricted from conducting paid promotions or monetising social media profiles without prior government approval under civil service rules.
