A 20-year-old college student in Indore was arrested for allegedly beating her 75-year-old grandfather to death with a cricket bat during the early hours of Sunday.
Police reported that an argument with her parents over staying out late triggered childhood trauma regarding alleged sexual abuse by her grandfather, prompting her to ride to his house and attack him.
The victim, a retired trooper of Madhya Pradesh's Special Armed Force, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at Aurobindo hospital.
