R. Madhavan Expands Biopic Universe with Upcoming GD Naidu Film

Actor R. Madhavan stars as inventor G.D. Naidu in the biographical film G.D.N., which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 7.

Directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar, the film depicts the life of the man known as the Edison of India, who is credited with building the country's first indigenous electric motor.

This role continues Madhavan's recent focus on real-life figures, following his portrayal of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan in the 2022 film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
