Wuhan Police Arrest Two for Stealing GPUs from Esports Hotels

Two suspects were arrested on July 20 for replacing high-end graphics cards with cheaper RTX 3060 models in Wuhan esports hotels.

The scheme was exposed on July 18 when the suspects caused a power outage while attempting to swap cards in a hotel room.

Police recovered two stolen cards and linked the pair to four incidents involving approximately 80,000 yuan worth of hardware.
