
The death toll from a measles outbreak in Bangladesh has reached 902 this year, following eight additional fatalities reported in the 24 hours leading up to 8:00 am today.
Health authorities have recorded a total of 141,776 suspected cases nationwide, with 17,800 infections confirmed through laboratory testing since the start of the year.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, 123,494 patients have been hospitalized since March 15, with 119,089 individuals having recovered from the disease.
