The Central Board of Film Certification clarified that Sunny Deol's upcoming film 'Suryaa Ant Se Aarambh Tak' has not yet been submitted for certification, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The clarification followed a letter from the Indian Medical Association to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw raising serious concerns over the film's promotional content and its portrayal of the medical profession.
The IMA objected to generalized corruption in healthcare and scenes depicting physical assaults on medical staff, warning that such depictions could normalize violence against healthcare workers.
