Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu Wins 2026 Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz Title

Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu secured his maiden Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz title on August 6, 2026, finishing with a 1.5-point lead over runner-up Javokhir Sindarov.

The Indian grandmaster earned $50,000 and 13 Grand Chess Tour points by winning the event with a round to spare after holding a draw in the penultimate round.

Praggnanandhaa achieved the highest individual scores in both the rapid and blitz segments, and he will now compete in the 2026 Sinquefield Cup starting on August 10.
