NATO Fighter Jet Downs Drone in Romanian Airspace

A Spanish F-18 fighter jet on a NATO mission shot down a drone that illegally breached Romanian airspace from neighbouring Moldova on Sunday.

This incident marks the fourth drone intercepted in Romania this year, as the country shares a 634km border with Ukraine amid ongoing regional conflict.

Separately, a massive drone barrage targeted Moscow on Sunday, resulting in the death of an 83-year-old man, while Russian strikes on Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih caused further casualties.
