Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away on Thursday morning at his residence in Goa at the age of 75 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
An autopsy report from the Goa Medical College and Hospital confirmed the cause of death as acute myocardial infarction due to coronary artery disease.
Numerous film personalities and political leaders attended his funeral in Pune, where he was cremated with full state honours.
