Jemimah Rodrigues Out of Asia Cup and Asian Games

Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues is ruled out of the Women’s Asia Cup and Asian Games after suffering a high-grade right hamstring tear on August 3.

Pratika Rawal has been named as the replacement for the Asia Cup, which begins in the UAE on August 28 with India's opening match against Pakistan on September 5.

Rodrigues will also miss the Asian Games in Nagoya, where India is the top-seeded team and scheduled to face Japan in the quarter-final on September 17.
