NCERT Develops AI and Computational Thinking Module for Classes 9 to 12

The National Council of Educational Research and Training developed an introductory module on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence for students in Classes 9 to 12.

Aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, the module uses activity-based learning approaches to explain AI concepts, applications, and limitations without requiring prior knowledge.

Officials emphasized that the curriculum includes a strong focus on data privacy, ethics, digital safety, and responsible technology usage.
