Macklemore dropped from Ed Sheeran tour over pro-Palestine remarks

Grammy-winning rapper Macklemore stated that he was dropped from Ed Sheeran's Loop tour following pro-Palestinian remarks he made onstage at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.

Macklemore said on Instagram that several U.S. venues informed the tour promoter they would refuse to allow him to perform.

The promoter, Messina Touring Group, confirmed that venue notifications threatening concert cancellations led to his removal from the lineup.
