IIT Delhi has constituted a five-member external committee to investigate the recent suicide of a student, following intense protests by the campus community.
The incident triggered late-night demonstrations on August 25, with students demanding accountability and improved mental health support systems on campus.
Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against unidentified persons and are currently reviewing evidence to determine the circumstances leading to the tragedy.
