Srikanth Odela's Telugu film The Paradise, starring Nani, collected ₹3.25 crore net on Wednesday, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹104.75 crore in its first week.
Despite opening to lukewarm reviews and word-of-mouth following its theatrical release, the film surpassed the lifetime grosses of Nani's previous releases like Dasara.
Set in the 1980s, the film features Priyadarshi and highlights Telangana's culture while telling the story of the Savaari tribe fighting against feudal oppression.
