Reigning UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev hinted on social media that his next title defense will be among his final career bouts.
Makhachev is expected to face the winner of the interim title fight between Carlos Prates and Michael Morales scheduled for January 30 in Toronto.
The 35-year-old fighter plans to observe Ramadan in February and March 2027, making an Octagon return likely in the second quarter.
