The Cockroach Janta Party visited government schools in Yeshwantpur and JP Nagar, Bengaluru, to protest against severe teacher shortages caused by staff being deployed for election-related duties.
Co-convener Asutosh Ranka stated that 50% of the teaching staff has been assigned to SIR duties for the last three months, with the deployment expected to continue for two more months.
The party, which is conducting a 'School Thik Karo' campaign, criticized the Election Commission for prioritizing administrative propaganda over the educational needs of students in government institutions.
