Madhya Pradesh hooch tragedy main accused Ravi Lakhera held after encounter

Ravi Lakhera (45) was captured early Friday in Sagar district after an exchange of fire in the Baraytha forest, sustaining a bullet injury to his leg.

The spurious liquor case has claimed 16 lives while 32 others undergo treatment, with police arresting 16 out of 30 accused individuals so far.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has ordered a judicial inquiry into the deaths, while the CPI(M) accused the government of shielding the liquor mafia.
