
Cameroon secured their first Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title on Sunday by defeating tournament debutants Malawi 3-0 in the final match.
Marie Ngah scored twice in the first half, while Naomi Eto added a third goal to seal the victory for the Indomitable Lionesses.
Both Cameroon and Malawi, along with semifinalists Morocco and Algeria, have qualified for the Women’s World Cup scheduled to take place in Brazil next year.
