West Bengal CEO announces Form 6 restoration for deleted voters

The West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer stated that eligible voters deleted during the Special Intensive Revision can apply for name restoration using Form 6.

The draft roll published in December 2025 recorded over 58 lakh Absentee, Shifted, Dead, and Deleted voters, while 27 lakh people remained deleted after adjudication.

The Supreme Court has established 19 appellate tribunals headed by former Calcutta High Court judges to review these contentious deletions.
