Veteran Actor and Mimicry Artist Aasha Singh Jaiswal Dies

Veteran actor, social worker, and mimicry artist Aasha Singh Jaiswal passed away on August 22 at the age of 7:30 pm, according to her son Akkash Bharadwaj.

Known as India's first female mimicry artist, she gained recognition for her ability to recreate the voice of legendary actor Meena Kumari and founded Aasha Events and Films.

Her final rites were scheduled to take place on August 23 at 10 am at Pawan Hans, Vile Parle West, in Mumbai.
