Influenza A Cases Rise in Telangana, Elderly Population Vulnerable

Telangana is reporting a rise in Influenza A cases, with senior pulmonologists noting that 30 to 40 percent of elderly patients with low immunity require ICU respiratory support.

Health officials have warned that the spike in upper respiratory infections may continue until October due to seasonal weather changes across the region.

While Hyderabad has recorded approximately 320 dengue cases, authorities confirmed that no swine flu cases have been reported, and private hospitals must report all notifiable diseases.
