A 32-year-old woman with a recurrent ovarian tumour successfully delivered a healthy baby after undergoing fertility-preservation treatment and in-vitro fertilisation in Bengaluru.
Doctors found her anti-Müllerian hormone level at 0.6 ng/ml and identified very low ovarian reserve following two previous surgeries for a borderline seromucinous ovarian tumour.
The medical team implemented a multidisciplinary two-stage approach, removing affected tissue, treating chronic endometritis with antibiotics, and using a natural-cycle frozen embryo transfer.
