Heavy polling recorded in second phase of Rajasthan panchayats

Rajasthan witnessed heavy voter turnout during the second phase of village panchayat elections across 22 districts on Friday.

As many as 3,626 village panchayats went to polls with 1.06 crore eligible voters casting their ballots, alongside 45 uncontested Sarpanches.

Polling proceeded amid isolated protests over delimitation, voter boycotts in select villages, and minor clashes over alleged bogus voting.
