Trump Bans CNN, MS NOW, and Politico From the White House

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he is banning media outlets CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, accusing them of reporting fiction and lies.

Trump stated on his Truth Social network that the ban is effective immediately and warned that he might bar other news organizations from the premises as well.

The action follows a February 2025 decision to exclude The Associated Press from the Oval Office and other events, which led to an ongoing lawsuit filed by the AP.
