North Korea launched multiple ballistic missiles toward the sea off its east coast from near Pyongyang, marking its fourth launch in a month.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff reported that one of the missiles flew more than 900 km following Seoul's recent hypersonic missile test.
South Korea's National Security Office convened an emergency meeting to condemn the launches as violations of United Nations Security Council resolutions.
