Gross direct tax collections for 2026-27 up to October 14 rose 14.89% year-on-year to ₹16,03,066.12 crore, according to official data released Friday.
Net direct tax revenue after refunds surged 13.21% to ₹13,37,866.98 crore, up from ₹11,81,786.98 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Corporate tax collections on a net basis reached ₹5,99,062.48 crore, while net non-corporate tax collections climbed to ₹6,91,965.71 crore.
