A Delhi court grilled Gurugram Police on Saturday over severe procedural lapses in handling the body and murder probe of real estate sales professional Yuvraj Singh Manchanda.
Judicial Magistrate First Class Rahul Jain noted that police failed to inform an executive magistrate, preserve viscera, upload details on ZIPNET, or conduct postmortem videography.
The court reserved its order on a plea by Manchanda’s sister seeking records, after observing that police actions snatched away the family's right to perform last rites.
