Cryptocurrency exchange Binance replaced 90% of the assets stolen in a record $6.3 billion hack by using its own funds to purchase replacement tokens.
Co-CEO Richard Teng stated that the remaining 10% comprises less liquid tokens and affirmed that users will not bear the financial impact of the incident.
Binance allocated around $6.34 billion from internal reserves, including the Secure Asset Fund for Users and corporate treasury, and remains on track to resume customer withdrawals on Sunday.
