Reliance Industries and Rolls-Royce have announced a strategic partnership to develop an indigenous combat engine for India's Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) program.
The collaboration includes the establishment of an Aerospace Gas Turbine Complex to facilitate local manufacturing and technology transfer.
This deal is a major step toward India's goal of self-reliance in fifth-generation fighter jet technology, reducing dependence on foreign suppliers.
