A 16-year-old student was allegedly gang-raped inside a moving sleeper bus during a 47-km journey from Greater Noida to Delhi's Kashmere Gate on August 30.
Police have arrested the bus driver and conductor, who reportedly offered the victim a lift before locking the vehicle's curtains to commit the crime.
The incident has triggered widespread protests in Delhi, with women's rights groups demanding stricter enforcement of safety protocols for public transport operators.
