Character actor Mushtaq Khan passed away on Thursday at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after battling a relapse of stage-four lung cancer.
Director Vishal Chaturvedi revealed that he and Mushtaq were scheduled to collaborate on an upcoming project, while colleagues paid tributes online.
Mushtaq made his screen debut in 1980 and was known for memorable character roles in Hindi films such as Welcome, Aashiqui, and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.
