Bihar issues new regulations banning unauthorized social media reels in schools

The Bihar government imposed new regulations instructing schoolteachers, non-teaching staff, and students not to make or upload social media reels without permission.

The directive follows a formal dress code enforced across state educational institutions by the education department on October 30.

Bihar oversees approximately 76,000 government schools and employs 6.6 lakh teachers across primary, upper primary, and higher secondary institutions.
