Director Suresh Triveni revealed that veteran actor Nana Patekar made a retro cameo appearance as Lance Naik Nana Waghmare in the 2026 action-drama film 'Subedaar'.
Triveni stated that Patekar agreed to the role as a personal favor out of his strong bond with co-star Anil Kapoor, wrapping up his scenes in Mumbai within two and a half hours.
Patekar's character in the film is a soldier who performs professional gun handling and participates in a climactic sequence supported by visual effects.
