Max Verstappen Wins Wet Singapore Sprint Race After George Russell Crashes

Max Verstappen won a wet Singapore sprint race for Red Bull on Saturday by 2.591 seconds over Lewis Hamilton, after Mercedes leader George Russell crashed on the opening lap.

Russell lost control on a white line at the final corner and hit the pit wall, while Charles Leclerc finished third and Kimi Antonelli inherited fourth following a final-lap collision between the McLarens.

Teams will regroup for Grand Prix qualifying under the lights later on Saturday, with Russell starting from the back of the grid due to engine penalties.
