Essar Power to Invest ₹4,500 Crore in Andhra Pradesh Renewable Energy Project

Essar Power will invest approximately ₹4,500 crore in a 300 MW renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh after signing a power purchase agreement with NHPC Ltd.

The project will utilize solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems to deliver firm and dispatchable renewable energy to the grid.

This venture forms part of Essar's broader corporate strategy to build an integrated renewable energy portfolio of around 5 GW.
