Kanimozhi alleges candidate poaching caused Tamil Nadu byelection

DMK parliamentary leader Kanimozhi alleged that byelections to Madurantakam and Dharapuram constituencies were caused by candidate defections to TVK.

Kanimozhi criticized Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay during campaigning and accused him of evading local safety issues involving women and children.

She stated that the State witnessed 500 crimes against women and children in the four months since the TVK came to power.
