Beth Mooney Leads Trent Rockets to Victory in The Hundred

Beth Mooney scored 57 runs off 35 balls to lead the Trent Rockets to an eight-wicket victory over Welsh Fire in The Hundred women's competition in Cardiff.

The Rockets successfully chased the target of 130 with 17 balls to spare, supported by England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, who remained unbeaten on 37 in her first match.

Welsh Fire posted 129-3, led by Sophie Devine's 38 off 25 balls, but the team's total proved insufficient against the Rockets' dominant opening partnership of 73 runs.
