A group of 21 former international cricket captains, including Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev, have written to Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif urging proper medical care for the imprisoned Imran Khan.
The 73-year-old former PM has been in custody since August 2023, with supporters claiming he has lost significant vision in his right eye and is being denied access to his personal physicians.
The signatories demand that Khan be assessed by a Supreme Court-directed medical board and allowed weekly family visits, following reports that a government hospital deemed him fit despite his health concerns.
