Opposition leaders skip BRICS meet as BJP Chief Ministers attend

Several opposition-ruled state leaders skipped the two-day BRICS meeting held in New Delhi, while six Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states attended the gala dinner.

Sources from Telangana and Himachal Pradesh stated that Chief Ministers Revanth Reddy and Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu missed the event due to prior engagements.

The Congress party criticized the BRICS declaration for omitting mentions of territorial issues and the Pahalgam terror attack.
